We have experience in a wide range of environments from residential to top security sites for the MOD, nuclear power, public utility companies, and including Police Stations, schools, colleges, Universities, student accommodation, Probation services, laboratories, Government departments, Call centres, offices, Hotels, MOD sites, Banks/Building Societies, Golf courses, Cleveland Potash, care homes, Hospitals, including acute wards and mental health units as we specialise in anti-ligature products.
Our systems might start with a car park barrier, and work into a building via industrial or pedestrian turnstiles, through a building via an access control system (see our new versatile intelligent system below), or via padlocked buildings (even our padlock keys can be intelligent, and useless until activated). We also install intercoms, sliding gates, shutters, safes, cctv, alarms, crime shields, and security surveillance.
Our Intelligent online locking system
For anywhere requiring access control we have a new unique system which saves the business money, thereby enabling more locks to be installed.
It is the first system on the market that does not require all locks to be online, thus potentially saving huge costs in infrastructure, enabling more locks to be covered with all the benefits of an intelligent system. is perfect for hotels, residential homes and student accommodation, as well as offices/call centres, banks.
It is extremely versatile and can be rolled out gradually if required, enabling the business needs to be continually assessed and changes made or options added (see below).
How it works
We utilise a mixture of different technologies to create a ‘perimeter of steel’ and this consists of doors with high security electro mechanical locks working in conjunction with online readers which can be hardwired or wifi.
On these doors there is ‘real time’ control over any lock and complete accountability of cardholders’ movements. They can also interface with the fire alarm detection equipment to enable certain or all doors to release automatically on full fire alarm activation.
Internally we would recommend, for high traffic areas, the stand alone offline variant from which information can be retrieved when required.
Wifi and offline variants do not require the extensive cabling and conduits that other systems demand, and this is how huge savings can be made.
This system allows the aesthetics of the building to be accommodated so that the oldest, most prestigious parts can remain that way. We don’t fit the unsightly quickest cheapest electro magnets in these areas.
The system can also be used for vending machines, lockers, lifts, car park barriers or turnstiles, industrial or pedestrian.
There are fewer wear and tear issues with these systems than older ones, therefore lower maintenance costs. Using dual technology, we can integrate our system with an existing access control system. Our customers are delighted to find that we do not tie anyone in to costly maintenance contracts. Usually inhouse maintenance personnel can carry out most maintenance work, leaving anything more complex to us when necessary or on a negotiated service contract.
For an interested customer we can install, free of charge a sample of our intelligent locks, to help a client make their decision about whether it would suit them. This takes minutes, with the minimum of disruption and will help you make your decision whilst on loan.
